The Housing Authorities Risk Retention Pool provides a full range of risk management services and coverages for its members. Housing Authorities from the states of California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington are eligible to apply. As a housing authority owned “insurance entity” housing authorities can take advantage of HUD's bid waiver for becoming a HARRP covered entity.

HARRP provides self insured coverage for property, general liability, automobile liability, errors and omissions (including employment practices liability) and fidelity.

HARRP's wholly owned insurance agency has access to higher limits, specialty coverage (flood, earthquake, lead paint liability, boilers, etc.) as well as coverages for tax credit and non-profit corporation properties can be secured for HARRP members or their affiliated entities by ORWACA Agency Insurance Services, Inc.
